At Powers Electric Guitars, the next launch of electric guitar colors involved two tone guitars, which incorporated one color on the top and a second color on the sides and back. The challenge was to design a user-friendly interface that would showcase the two-tones of the guitars with limited availability of photos - only having access to the front, back, and an angled side, while being on a very tight deadline before product launch. With this, I wanted to show that there are two tones to the guitars using HEX colors as its shown in the homepage slider. Using pen and paper to intially create quick ideas, I created multiple variations before mvoing to low-fidelity and high-fildelity wireframes for team collaboration. The designs prioritized intuitive navigation, ensuring customers could effortlessly browse and select guitar colors. I also tested the design on multiple devices to ensure breakpoint scalability. After presenting to stakeholders, receiving feedback and adjusting the design, I collaborated with a developer to adjust the current website to accomodate the two-tone guitars. This design has been shared by artists, musicians, and dealers on social media.
